Local craft beer located in Long Valley, NJ, Chilton Mill Brewing is constantly releasing new, delicious beers. Mike Peachey, Head Brewer and Owner, of Chilton Mill Brewing is always pushing boundaries and brewing beers that are irresistible.

The Brewery

Chilton Mill Brewing is a Brewer Owned and Operated 3.5 bbl craft brewery and taproom.

Behind Our Name: In the rural town of Clare, Suffolk County, England stood a five-storied, four-sailed, brick gristmill called the Chilton Street Mill where nearby, the cool waters of Chilton Stream ran fresh and fed the Stour River. It was there amid the vast and picturesque grain fields that the Chilton Street Mill functioned as a valuable source of the community’s commerce. Although no longer in service, it still stands to this day.

Finding origins of his own surname in that same Suffolk, England, the spinning hand of Fate placed Head Brewer and Owner, Mike Peachey, in a hilltop home on his own Chilton Street in Somerset County, New Jersey where he discovered his passion and started crafting and brewing his own recipes. Later, moving to New Hampshire he became immersed in the craft, while gaining knowledge from friends and brewers alike. All while holding tight to his dream of opening his very own brewery.

Homegrown - NJ Lager: 5.2% · Brewed exclusively with NJ grown grains from Rabbit Hill Malthouse and River Valley Community Grains, this beer exemplifies fresh local flavor with a crisp, clean clarity

Wits End - Belgian Witbier: 5.2% · A classically refreshing Summer style complimented by Curaçao orange peel, crushed whole coriander and local raw wheat from our friends at River Valley Community Grains. A subtle elegant fruitiness follows with hints of lemongrass and citrus in this easy drinking ale

Maibock 2026 - Maifest Lager: 7.3% ·Brewed in celebration of Spring. This vivaciously refreshing lager layers malt complexity with intricate fruity, floral flavors and aromas thanks to Hallertaü Mittlefrüh & Hüll Melon hops

Papa Don - British Brown Ale: 5.6% · Brewed in collaboration with Chris LaSpada. This classic English ale showcases layers of chocolate, biscuit and toffee, while paying homage to his late Grandfather

Daydream - Hazy Pale: 5.8% · Crisp, clean pilsner malt sets the stage for Citra, Rakau & Mosaic hops to push forth flavors of apricot, mango and citrus zest in this refreshingly hazy pale

Maui Punch - Fruit Tart Ale: 6% · Head to Hawaii for some flashing fruit punch and I’m sure you’ll Hi-C what we’re going for ;)

Nelson’s Way - IPA: 7.5% · Freestyle Nelson Sauvin hops take center stage in this hazy IPA, showcasing vibrant notes of white grape, gooseberry and passionfruit; a truly unique character

Cold Creek - Imperial IPA: 9% · Brewed for our Seventh Anniversary, this unfiltered Triple IPA is loaded with Freestyle Motueka, Peacharine & Peachrine Kief. Bursting with flavors of fresh Mackinaw peaches, juicy stone fruit and peach ring candy, this dank saturated haze bomb has been years in the making!
