The Brewery

Chilton Mill Brewing is a Brewer Owned and Operated 3.5 bbl craft brewery and taproom.

Behind Our Name: In the rural town of Clare, Suffolk County, England stood a five-storied, four-sailed, brick gristmill called the Chilton Street Mill where nearby, the cool waters of Chilton Stream ran fresh and fed the Stour River. It was there amid the vast and picturesque grain fields that the Chilton Street Mill functioned as a valuable source of the community’s commerce. Although no longer in service, it still stands to this day.

Finding origins of his own surname in that same Suffolk, England, the spinning hand of Fate placed Head Brewer and Owner, Mike Peachey, in a hilltop home on his own Chilton Street in Somerset County, New Jersey where he discovered his passion and started crafting and brewing his own recipes. Later, moving to New Hampshire he became immersed in the craft, while gaining knowledge from friends and brewers alike. All while holding tight to his dream of opening his very own brewery.

Almost Gone - Czech Pilsner: 5.5% ABV Czech Saaz and Kazbek hops intertwine with a classic Czech Pilsner style yeast strain to bring forward bright floral aromas and citrus undertones to this crisp, crushable Pilz... Get it before Mike does!

Ávido - Pale Ale: 5.3% ABV Ripe refreshing layers of strawberry, honey dew melon and marmalade meander throughout this petite pale courtesy of Citra, Strata & Idaho-7.

Nectar Wave- Fruit Tart Ale: 7% ABV Pineapple, Orange and Guava create huge waves of flavor in this tropically tantalizing tart and fruity ale!

Plum Pucker - Fruited Sour: 6.5% ABV Ripe Italian plums pair perfectly with this Lactobacillus based sour, providing a poignantly poppy acidic spark and jovially juicy finish!

Groove Juice - IPA: 7.2% ABV Exploding with luscious flavors of tropical fruits, fresh crushed gooseberries and white peach, thanks to ample amounts of Nectaron, Nelson Sauvin and Citra hops.

The Extraordinary Adventures of Hop-Man - IPA: 7% ABV Brewed in collaboration with Heavy Reel Brewing in Seaside Heights, this beer focuses on some of New Zealand’s best hops! Rakau, Motueka, Nelson Sauvin and Rakau SubZero hop kief. Blending brilliantly to showcase notes of passionfruit and nectarine!

Serene Green - West Coast IPA: 7% ABV Columbus, Chinook, Simcoe, Cryo-Simcoe and Citra Hash boast a firm balanced bitterness that lends way to dank sour diesel aromatics alongside hints of resin, fresh cut pine and a kiss of citrus. Creating an unapologetically High-BU driven West Coast IPA.

Call It A Night - Black IPA: 8% ABV This Cascadian Dark Ale embodies the best attributes of a smooth dark ale and an IPA all in one! Chocolatey roast lends way to smooth bittering and a touch of fruity goodness! Dry hopped with Cascade, Amarillo & Mosaic.
